Clogged Toilet

Nothing but TP & human waste should go down the toilet! Use the right type of plunger.

Clogged Sink Drain

Most clogs are from hair. Remove the stopper and P-trap, clean out the hair, and avoid chemicals.

No Power

Check for a tripped breaker at the panel or reset the GFI outlet.

Lightbulbs/ Lighting

Replace burned-out bulbs with the same type. Inspections will verify proper lighting.

Patch Holes/ Painting

If you make holes in walls, patch and paint them before moving out to avoid charges.

Smoke Detectors

Change batteries as needed. Tenants will be charged if maintenance replaces them.

Mice, Pests, or Bugs

Handle pest control yourself, or request services from maintenance for a fee.

Heating/ Cooling

Replace furnace filters regularly to avoid equipment malfunction or damage.

Mold or Mildew

Clean and ventilate damp areas to prevent mold or mildew buildup.
